The Sleigh Runs for this year have now been published, please use the menu below to see the routes.

We have made some changes to the routes this year to try and reach as many of you as possible in the time available - we are only licensed to collect between 6pm and 8pm.

These routes are advisory and subject to change due to weather, road conditions and time constraints.

In previous years we have had issues with not being able to get the sleigh down some streets due to parking on the roads, so apologies in advance if we can't reach you this year but we will as always try our best to reach you.

Hykeham Lions is run entirely by volunteers to raise funds for local good causes.

Lions are:

Members of the World’s largest and most active service club organisation; visit www.lionsclubs.org

People who have decided to give something back to their communities.

People who identify the needs of others and set about meeting those needs.

People who enjoy working together in fellowship to help those less fortunate than themselves

People who enjoy themselves and include fun in their caring attitude.

Lions are NOT a political or religious organisation

Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Our 1.35 million members – who perform community service in 207 countries and geographic areas – are different in many ways, but share a core belief: community is what we make it.

When you join Lions, you join a global service network. So, at the same time you’re doing local community service, you can also contribute to Lions volunteer efforts around the world.

As a fundraising charity, we aim to provide assistance to needy individuals from our own community and support the work of other charitable organisations within our local area.

We also support the work of the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), which provides assistance to needy communities throughout the world. To read about the response of Lions worldwide to the most recent events, follow the link to the Lions International Web Site. As a service club operating within our local community, most of our support is directed towards local people and small locally based charities. Lions Clubs are completely autonomous and all decisions are made by the members of the club.
